An expedition leading from the narrow back lanes of Cairo right through into the heart of the Nubian countryside beyond the majestic river. Nubian weddings and fellah tribal singing - deeper and deeper right to the source of this traditional music. Just as the Nile, the throbbing heart of North Africa, forms the joint border of Sudan and Egypt, so too does Mahmoud Fadl and friends demonstrate the affinity of the rhythms of this region.
