The songs are sung by one of Central-Africa`s most heartrendingly evocative lead vocalists, Marlène Ngaro, whose style recalls that of the Togolese singer Bella Bellow, an idol of all of Francophone Africa who died prematurely. Her magic voice is supported by the festive grooves of Thierry Cassard on drums, percussions and balafon, Will Maes on keyboards and percussions, Francois Corea on bass, and Peter Cushin on percussions.
