Description
The songs of Short Sharp Shocked are mostly about what it was like to grow up in rural Texas. The violent album cover is reflected only in the song 'Graffiti Limbo,' about a black graffiti artist who was killed by white policemen while in custody. Every song on this album is a gem. The arrangements are relatively understated and folky, except for the rocking blues 'If Love Was A Train.'
